why education?
It's the most negatively affected field by COVID-19 spread.
why Nafas?
Nafas in arabic means "breathe", and that is a great significance to what users of this building can feel during their stay in it (students, teachers, staff and managers), the building provides all forms of circulation of air in it, besides all natural forms of energy that are provided, bur air is the master natural form of energy used.

The project is designed from the beginning to be low budget, low tech; no sophistications in systems, full dependence on local materials, minor need to external sources for feeding the students.

Sustainability & Health:
The cluster is provided by urban farms for both learning, health and economic  objectives,  to enhance the culture of farming that is the origin of Egyptian since he has found the Nile River as a pharaoh, and be self dependent to feed themselves,  better diet and life style(*), and to be all self suffecient the school doesn't need to buy food for the students.


(*) the Spline crossing the whole cluster is provided with a cycling track to 
enhance their immune systems by cycling and being sportive and fit, decrease the 
idea of possession a car in the future
and deterioration of traffic jams in Egypt.

Economic scope:
There is a local store along the mega shed where every student can sell his/her product  regardless the field of craft, in small kiosk, so they are raised to be independent and trained on how to start their business using their talents.

Sustainability & Exploitation:
Urban farms, flexible palm reed roofs, passive design for reducing solar thermal mass on cluster units and roofs,  and provide the needed natural light for better education delivery.
Voids in walls are created for cross ventilation, different heights to control air  pressure, and gravel pockets for natural cooling effect on air before entering the class

There are two types of classes which are: Studying class - Activity class, both are similar in the S.S. "Sanitizing Station", which is 15% of the total surface area of one class, all considerations are applied for COVID-19 spread prevention
